The sparkling wine »Prestige« Pinot brut nature, vintage 2014 from the winery Griesel & Compagnie has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Fresh, inviting nose, yeasty, smoky, raspberry, brioche, grippy and fresh on the palate, yet quite elegant with good substance and fine mousse. Plenty of tension, purist and straightforward, animating with good length.
More about the tastingDelicate aroma of red apple, small red berries. Fine and almost creamy mousseux, full-bodied palate, uncompromisingly dry, but not hard or austere, has fullness and palate fruit and a currently still very compact finish, subtle wood.
