Red berries, rose hip, lime zest and apple peel on the nose, with some meadow herbs and subtle yeasty notes such as brioche in the background make for a subtle patina. Straightforward on the palate thanks to a crisp, lively acidity that creates good tension and is supported by fine phenolic grip. Great minerality on show, this is clearly a terroir-influenced, exciting wine that has ageing potential.
