The sekt Blanc de Blancs Tradition Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Griesel & Compagnie has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Initially lightly scented, a delicate, cool, chalky nose quickly develops with herbal notes of thyme. A very soft mousse on the palate, with a hint of apple peel and a slightly tart flavour that pairs positively with the grippy acidity.
