The sekt Riesling brut, vintage 2022 from the winery Griesel & Compagnie has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Plum and peach on the nose, with yeasty, savoury notes and a hint of fino sherry and mandarin. The palate is harmoniously balanced with a strong dosage in the ensemble of the house style, which, however, supports the fruit and length well and still leaves room for the minerality.
