A most subtle nose shows hints of undergrowth. Fine tannins show beautiful elegance, with tannins that still have a slight crunch in spite of their silkiness. There is freshness and tension and a lovely vein of brightness that seems to underline red rather than dark fruit. It is on the finish that the concentration becomes apparent. An elegant and vivid wine, at the height of its expression.
