Tasting Notes
A subtle and mellow, almost floral note on the nose suggests cream, smoothest oak and even a hint of dill. This seems like a different wine, a more modern, glossier version. The palate is generous, full and fleshy with rich plum and showing – for the first time – alcoholic heat, despite similar analytic values in this line-up. The tannins are still dense and comes with real grip. This is made in a bold, rich style that echoes with juicy plum fruit.
