Earthy evolution sets the tone from the first sniff. The palate falls in with these evolved notions of dried oak lichen and presents a picture of evolved plum fruit, shimmering with glimpses of red cherry, on a supple body with resolved, smooth tannins. This has reached its peak and should be drunk now in its fading glory. The finish shows beautiful concentration.
