The white wine »Reserve« Mauchen Chasselas trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Lämmlin-Schindler has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
Ripe yellow fruit in the opening aroma, some apricot, buttery notes. On the palate the wine is quite textured, yet rather narrow and pithy, some carbonic acid gives freshness. Long-lasting phenolics with (currently?) restrained aromatics.
