The red wine Paleo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby colour with a slight purple tinge. Very intense and inviting nose, opens with notes of cigar box, lots of blueberry and blackberry, some smoke. Extremely juicy, vivid fruit on the palate, opens with grippy tannins in many layers, fine savouriness also on the palate, earthy finish.
