Clear, rich ruby purple. Very compact nose, opens with notes of liquorice and tobacco, also some mint, lots of cassis and plums. Turns an impressive wheel on the palate, displaying lots of ripe fruit, blackberry and blueberry, opens with vivid, polished tannins, profound, salty finish.
