Clear, rich ruby purple. Concise nose with lots of rich dark berry fruit, slightly smoky in the background, blackberry and fine herbs, inviting. Presents itself on the palate with lots of ripe, rich fruit, opens up with fine, dense tannins, spreads out layer by layer, fine mix of fruit and tobacco on the finish, great length.
