The red wine Paleo Rosso Cabernet Franc IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2010 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby purple colour. Intense, finely characterised nose, rich aromas of redcurrants, lots of tobacco, savoury herbal notes. Very compact and dense on the palate, unfolds with dense tannins, has great fullness, but also shows a dancing lightness, long finish with lots of sweet texture.
