Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening at the rim. Delicate mint and a touch of Verbena, nuances of cassis, blackberry and spices such as turmeric and cardamom. Juicy, elegant, ripe berry fruit, good supporting tannins, fresh acidity, fine nougat, persistent, savoury towards the end, black cherry on the aftertaste, will benefit from a few years of bottle ageing.
