Tasting Notes
Like the Chardonnays, the grapes for this Burgundy varietal come from Tasmania, Henty and the Adelaide Hills. Bright garnet red, purple reflections, broad rim brightening. Delicately floral nuances of red forest berries, hints of cranberry, a hint of scrub, grapefruit zest and maquis. Medium-bodied, emphatically red berry with lemon nuances, fine tannins, a hint of sweetness on the finish, a finely spiced touch of wild strawberry, mineral, with a chalky-salty freshness in the aftertaste, delicate style. (now until 2030).
