The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Poggio di Sotto has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, bright garnet red. Finely marked, very clear nose of fresh cherries and plums, some cinchona bark in the background. Rolls juicy and salty over the tongue, fine, grippy tannin in many layers, great tension, very long finish.
