Tasting Notes
Very berry and open, almost Australian, eucalyptus, ethereal, spicy, almost somewhat vegetal, leafy notes - but definitely positive. Quite feisty on the palate, soft body, fine-grained tannins, noticeable alcohol, supple and round, very restrained acidity, almost atypical for a Chianti, certainly delicate on the palate and fresh, but also a little awkward. Despite its fragrant character, this is the shortest wine in the series in terms of aroma.
