The red wine La Massa IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Tenuta La Massa has been rated in 2013 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby with a slightly light rim. Very penetrating, compact nose, shows notes of dark berries, lots of cassis and ripe cherry, juicy. Fresh and juicy in the attack and on the palate, lots of present fruit, builds up with dense tannins, hearty and gripping, some additional ageing would certainly do it good.
