The white wine Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese, vintage 2005 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Light green yellow colour. Very seductive nose of passion fruit, ripe tropical fruits, delicate hint of banana, fine blossom honey, multilayered bouquet. Emphatically fruity on the palate, with subtle aromas and very good complexity, it appears opulent and layered, with fine acidity and light botrytis savouriness on the finish. It has a very convincing length and huge ageing potential, suggesting that it should be aged for ten to twenty years.
