The red wine Admiral, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Fine wood notes, a touch of cardamom, black cherries, plums, candied orange zest, inviting blackberry confit. Powerful, ripe cherries, vivid, supporting tannins, fine acidity, mineral and persistent.
