The white wine »Cuvée Sekt« extra brut, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Fine mousse. Dried apple rings, light citrus notes, pears, herbs, some brioche and yeasty notes on the nose. Lively acid structure on the palate, deep yet with a fine mineral mousse, bone dry. Slightly nutty notes, herbal savouriness. Long lasting, refreshing.
