Tasting Notes
Stimulating aromas of cassis, eucalyptus, graphite, ajvar, bacon and smoke. Lots of juice and substance, on the palate a vivid but delicate tannin, creamy acidity, in the centre an ethereal herbal savouriness takes over and carries into a long finish. Made for the long haul.
More about the tastingA dense aroma on the nose: Amarena cherry, gingerbread, redcurrant, broom, juniper. The palate first reveals an intense, tactile chalky minerality, then a dense, fine-grained tannin unfolds, intense juiciness transports the fruit into a long, chalky finish. Still very young, but already accessible.
More about the tastingPiquant-spicy aroma: mint, mint oil, also herbal tones and red bell pepper. No berry tones (yet). The palate is still very youthful, dense, with pronounced alcohol and fresh aromas accompanied by a fine nerve and lots of juiciness. Gingerbread savouriness on the finish. Great length. A baby.
