The red wine Cuvée Wilhelm Réserve, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Tasting Notes
The nose is still a little restrained. However, an elegant cassis fruit with a fine hint of eucalyptus can be detected. The taste is slightly fruity and subtly pushes ahead of the tannin structure. Well suited for bottle ageing.
