A lot of spice and bite on the nose combined with an alcoholic warmth. Pithy with drive showing savoury spice, elderflower and raspberry flavours. A wine which one clearly thinks about in its later life stages. Fine astringency with a lot of ageing potential.
More about the tastingMineral cherry, rosemary, mint, almond, cherry stone and very fine wood. Firm, fresh tannin, almost fleshy but moderately structured, compact, juicy with chalky-minerality in the background, high fruit and aroma. Definite ageing potential.
