Tasting Notes
Purple, slightly brighter at the rim. Attractive and dark berry aromas with fine oak savouriness. Complex and powerful on the palate, aromas of dark cherry, aniseed, tobacco leaf and coffee, supported by good acidity and still young tannins. A wine with definite ageing potential.
More about the tastingThe wine is still closed on the nose, with slightly metallic notes underpinning the dark berry fruit. In the mouth, the wine shows an elegant side, juicy, with a not unpleasant hint of greenness in the (grainy, artisanal-looking) tannin, which emphasizes freshness and elegance. But the wine is also quite powerful - it will need some time to harmonize.
