Tasting Notes
Fresh cherry fruit, cherry pit, a hint of milk chocolate - you wouldn't immediately think of the warm 2018 vintage. However, the palate shows the warmth with its creamy base, full-bodied and slightly grainy, the fruity plateau lasts an extremely long time, ending on chalky-mineral notes.
More about the tastingIt has a spicy, beautiful nose of pine forest, along with raspberry, blackberry, and juicy dark red cherry aromas. There is some minerality on the palate, with a well-integrated acidity, velvety tannins, and it has a medium body full of fruit of blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry flavours. It also has a nice coolness despite the very warm 2018, and has good ageing potential.
