Quite reductive at the start, the aroma of this wine vents positively into notes of grapefruit and toasty wood, a light floral note of lily of the valley and an aroma of blackcurrant leaf tea. In the mouth, the wine has a dense, tight structure, the pithy acidity and a medium-high to high dose of phenolics gives rise to fantasies for years of bottle ageing to come.
