Tasting Notes
Ruby red in color. Herbal and ethereal aroma, fresh bread crust, vanilla, characterized by barrique. Delicately underlaid flint and white pepper. Dried plum and blackberry jelly. Animatingly complex. Ripe phenolics, taut acidity and tactile minerality on the palate. Very tense. Wood is wonderfully integrated. Noticeable, ripe tannins. Long finish, with juicy sour cherry in the aftertaste.
