Artist creates chocolate bust of Charles – Celebrations style!

Master chocolatier added finishing touches to the creation that used 2,875 Celebrations.

There have been numerous pieces of artwork completed with King Charles III as the subject, and there’ll no doubt be lots more in the future following this weekend’s coronation.

Among the more interesting is the bust of the monarch created using 2,875 Celebration chocolates, the work taking 130 hours and weighing in at more than 23kg. Master chocolatier Jennifer Lindsey-Clark applied the finishing touches with a team creating the model.

The bust features the King in the uniform he is expected to wear to the coronation along with chocolate miniatures replacing the medals that will adorn it: Mars, Snickers, Twix, Milky Way, Galaxy and Bounty among those used on the model.

“The team studied hours of footage of the King to capture his true likeness and the resemblance is uncanny,” Emily Owen, Celebrations senior brand manager, said. “Celebrations is all about bringing people together and we are thrilled to be sharing this occasion with so many chocolate lovers up and down the country.”

The bust will go on display at Mars Wrigley’s headquarters in Slough, Berkshire, with limited-edition commemorative coronation tubs of Celebrations on sale in selected Tesco stores.
