Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2026

As we know, it can make sense to concentrate on one thing at a time. This is precisely what Matthias Schreml and Kai Maschtschenko, are doing at their jointly run Sektmanufaktur. They bottle a wide variety of Sekts in different styles, all very high quality. Our recommendation is the 2018 "Der Unbekannte" dry Sekt wine, although dry is a generous term. But that doesn't matter, because the base wine made from the rare Würzer variety delivers great flavours, resulting in an original, affordable and delicately sweet delight.
