The red wine Kepos Costa Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Ampeleia has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet, Carignan, Mourvèdre from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Opaque ruby red with a slight cloudiness. Animal nose, savoury, supported by delicate berry fruit. Very harsh and drying on the palate, slows down the attack and finish, unfortunately a little too wild this year.
