The red wine Tassinaia IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2015 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
It has a minty fragrance and is a concentrated wine with plenty of ripe forest fruit, cherries and preserved plums. One might associate it with coziness, with accessibility, with dolce vita perhaps. It does not quite fulfill this promise on the palate, when it attacks the palate with a brittle attitude, remaining austere and unapproachable.
