Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, dark berries and nougat, fine savouriness, mineral-tobacco nuances, needs some air, then literally opens up. Incredibly complex on the palate, appears concentrated, almost powerful in stature by Ducru standards, very good freshness and length, amazingly rich with just as much ageing potential. A safe recommendation would be to keep a few magnums in the cellar. Store/drink +25.
