Tasting Notes
Rather strong carmine garnet. Initially somewhat washed out, a hint of damp wool, but also sweet cherry fruit, fine orange zest, but clears up more with every minute, then shows the nuances of cedar wood so typical of Ducru, roasted aromas, even hints of dark fruit. Full-bodied and complex on the palate, well-integrated tannins, some bitter chocolate, delicately spicy and persistent, a delicate, elegant wine with a salty finish. Drink/store +10
