Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour, deep core, delicate purple reflections, delicate watery rim. Restrained nose, dark berries with air, with notes of damp undergrowth in the background, dried porcini mushroom, some soya, delicate dried fruit notes with air. Dark berry confit on the palate, mineral texture, ripe, vivid tannins, a good food companion, shows good length, some nougat and plum in the aftertaste, a wine with certain ageing potential, still rather unapproachable. Will develop into a classic Ducru. Cellar +25.
