Tasting Notes
Medium golden yellow. An intensely mineral nose with hints of roasted nuts underpinned with candied citrus zest, orange peel and fine honey nuances. With more air comes white peach - seems surprisingly youthful. Complex and taut on the palate, with a core of fine extract sweetness. There's unquestionably vital power, which is underlined by a vivid acidity. A touch of butterscotch in the finish as well as saline, background flinty nuances and a repeat of the hazelnut note in the finish. Has great further ageing potential.
