Tasting Notes
Pure seduction. The nose reveals a beguiling interplay of bacon, truffles and dark, full-fleshed cherries, blood oranges dripping with juice, accompanied by floral notes such as violets, peonies and rosehip. There are also hints of chocolate, liquorice and nougat - complex, dense and yet perfectly harmonious. The wine is silky on the palate, perfectly balanced between taut acidity, polished tannins and fine, precisely integrated wood. Powerful, compact and gripping, elegant and deep at the same time - a wine with inner tension that appears timeless in its youthful tautness. A wine for the ages.
