Tasting Notes
The nose is initially dominated by a fresh, grassy note, which gives the wine a cool tension. With a little air, aromas of cassis, red berries and wild strawberries join in. Gradually, notes of undergrowth, bacon, savoury, meaty hints open up - pepper, dry-aged beef, almost balsamic with a hint of leather. The palate reveals a fresh acidic core, supported by fine wood and a subtle, elegant sweetness on the finish. The wine is delicate and fine - more on the subtle, cool side and less concentrated, but charming.
