Tasting Notes
Plucky, structured, with clear edges – and always controlled, almost disciplined in its expressiveness. The nose reveals intense notes of salted butter, sweet spices and fine toast. Subtle vanilla combines harmoniously with ripe yellow fruit, white flowers and a wonderfully integrated oak note that gives the wine structure and depth. On the palate, the Corton is creamy, with fresh butter, substance and elegance - "meat on the ribs", but never heavy. A precise sea saltiness pervades the texture and gives the wine freshness and tension.
