Initially somewhat reductive on the nose. With oxygen, a generous spiciness is revealed, which is carried by dried dark fruit. Notes of dried fig and date, cassis and blackberry as well as cherry. Cinnamon, cocoa and allspice. Dense and precise on the palate, with ripe acidity and savoury and dark fruit notes. Creamy, elegant texture. Long finish with nutty nuances.
More about the tastingDark ruby red with an opaque core. Intense, dark berry fruit on the nose with notes of elderberry, blackberry, cassis and plum. With air, more and more savouriness and a fine oak aroma are added. Very vivid on the palate with fine, superb tannins and crisp acidity. Intense until the long, spicy-peppery finish.
