The white wine Saint Romain Blanc Cuvée du Passiflore, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Ponsot has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Cote de Nuits in France.
Somewhat reductive on the nose, with notes of tar and black tea, then yellow stone fruit, citrus notes, apple, apricot and passion fruit. On the palate the wine is taut with lively citrus and flinty acidity and fruit flavours of honey and pineapple with a very precise, vivid, long, mineral-salty finish.
