The red wine Scrio IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby color. Inviting and intense nose with pronounced notes of plums, blueberries and blood oranges. Grippy, dense tannins on the palate, spreads nicely, deep, distinct earthy tones, firm drive on the finish, lots of tobacco, lacks a bit the shimmer of the other vintages.
