The sparkling wine Cabochon Fuoriserie N. 025 Franciacorta DOCG Brut from the winery Monte Rossa has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Nero from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a drop of light gold and a persistent, delicate mousse. Initially characterised by some reduction on the nose, then of salted lemon, wet stone, bacon, with minimal exotic notes, fresh pineapple and grapefruit, reminiscent of roasted nuts on the finish. On the palate with fine creamy notes and creamy texture, lots of juiciness and salt, comes elegantly but slowly, remains slightly grippy on the finish.
