The franciacorta Cabochon Doppiozero Franciacorta DOCG Brut Nature, vintage 2016 from the winery Monte Rossa has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Bright straw yellow in colour with a persistent mousse. Very complex on the nose, with aromas of candied orange, roasted walnuts, subtle hints of date, paired with light floral tones, with an echo of black bread crust and wet stone. Extremely elegant and full of finesse on the palate, with a great texture and perfectly integrated mousse, balanced, with fine nutty tones and a long, saline finish.
