Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections and subtle brightening on the ochre rim. The "Baby Grange" is still a little buttoned up on the nose at the moment, with delicate aromas of nougat and fig, underlaid by cranberry with some pleasant fine oak spice and a touch of eucalyptus in the background. The palate is subtly fresh with integrated tannins, juicy, ripe cherry and a citrus-minerality on the aftertaste. Still young this needs further bottle ageing.
