The red wine Oreno IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2013 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dense, flint ruby colour. Very dense and intense nose, aromas of blackberry, dark currant, some cinnamon, sandalwood and cardamom in the background, very seductive. Lots of vivid fruit on the palate, showing plump cherry, then cassis and blackberry, opening up with precise firm tannins, finely layered, and salty, and long on the finish.
