The rosé »Rosé Fass 3«, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Baumann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Domina from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fine orange tones with brick red hints in the colour. Fine spice testifies to the wood ageing, dried meadow herbs, fine smoke, some rosehip and mint. The skillful use of wood also characterises the full, rounded mouthfeel. Creamy and with a precise, finely chiseled vein of acidity, very fine phenolics, mineral hue, full of character.
