Red boiled fruit is clearly evident in the intense aroma. Black pepper, leather and smoke follow. It lays down on the tongue with pithy tannins. Repeatedly red-fruited and leathery on the palate with a noticeable acidity. The wine has grip and structure. Easy to drink with a platter of sausage specialties.
