The white wine »der Kanzemer«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Cantzheim has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Red apple, baked apple and caramel, plus some caraway and butterscotch, a rather complex aroma. The palate begins with a concise play of acidity, the fruit remains is quite restrained but produces a fine balance, which on the one hand appears calm and harmonious, but on the other hand possesses liveliness and dynamism through its mineral oscillation. Stylish!
