The white wine Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese, vintage 2006 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Light green yellow in colour. Still delicately reductive on the nose, fine vegetal savouriness, intense terroir flavour of Devonian slate weathered soil, damp rock, fresh citrus zest. Very elegant on the palate, dense and complex, already well developed, harmonious texture, well-integrated extract sweetness, fine savoury botrytis honey note on the finish, fine mandarin zest in the aftertaste, will benefit greatly from further years of bottle ageing.
