Tasting Notes
Complex and intensive on the nose, grapefruit, slate, yeast, liquorice, medlar, tangerine. Still seems very young. Supple and powerful attack, soft and buttery, but also enigmatic and dense. Seems comparatively light on sweetness and at the same time mild in the acidity, but has juice and freshness. Potential for further decades of ageing.
More about the tastingMedium greenish yellow. Very inviting, open fruit on the nose, floral nuances, delicate botrytis honey. Juicy and sweet on the palate, fully ripe tropical fruit, some banana, lacks a little freshness in view of the opulence, seems a little broad-shouldered and still immobile, but opens up with temperature and air, is simply still too young.
